Do you record calls, and is that legal?
Yes - calls are recorded and transcribed by default so you have a record of every conversation, and callers are told this at the start of the call. Recording and consent requirements vary by state and use case in India, so the exact disclosure wording gets finalized with you before go-live, not assumed.
Can I keep my existing number, or do I need a new one?
Either works. Most clients port their existing business number so nothing changes for customers; a few prefer a fresh dedicated number for the agent. We'll tell you which makes sense once we see your current setup.
Is outbound calling compliant with India's DND / TRAI rules?
Outbound commercial calling in India is regulated by TRAI's DND (Do Not Disturb) framework - numbers on the DND registry generally can't be called for promotional purposes, and commercial callers typically need to operate through a registered header/sender ID rather than a plain personal number.
Flagged - compliance review required before this goes live for a real client. Not yet implemented in this scaffold.
What languages does it support?
English, Hindi, and Marathi, including callers who switch between them mid-conversation. The underlying voice engine is chosen per client - a faster English-first stack for English-heavy businesses, or a vernacular-tuned stack for Hindi/Marathi-heavy ones.
Will this work with the phone system or CRM I already use?
In most cases, yes - call outcomes and transcripts can be routed into common CRMs and spreadsheets. Tell us what you're running today on the scoping call and we'll confirm the integration before quoting final setup cost.
